Pipeline Digital SDK's Deck Control
Pipeline Digital's DeckControl SDK is a cross-platform plug-in for fast, accurate, VTR control. The Pipeline DeckControl SDK offers you the ability to control most features of the VTR (see protocol list, above) to facilitate:
- basic deck control
- tape logging
- video digitizing, both single clip and batch
- editing (print-to-tape)
DeckControl is a C single entry selector based C/C++ dll library. It is not compiled with your application. It is similar to Pipeline Digital's ProVTR, which is the leading Adobe Premiere device control plug-in. DeckControl has a built in GUI for exporting to tape and setting preferences. DeckControl is intended for applications that have basic device control needs. It does offer the ability to set offsets (in frames) for fine-tuning capture to disk and export to tape timing, but does not have callback abilities.
